I live for music and photography and writing. This is more than just a hobby, it became a passion over the years. It keeps me restless, happy and creative. I do live pictures and portraits mostly and I love to keep the moment of music in my photography, the feeling you have when you see the band, the lights and love for music... as well as I love to keep emotions and character in my portraits. Just looking behind the picture itself, I want to give life to my photos. This passion for musicphotography started somewhere around 2000 at a Tiamat gig and the fire took over after my first photopit experience at a Paradise Lost gig, when they played as support of The Sisters Of Mercy in Vienna. I had a camera that was quite oke but didnt know much about live photography. It was still an unforgettable experience as it was a really big gig and maybe 4000 people behind me... wow! Over the years my experiences grew, I wrote and worked as a photographer for various magazines (like Nocturnal Hall, DarkScene, Headache Magazine, The Zine etc.), did a lot of freelance work for different internet and printmagazines as well as for some bands and even had the chance to follow some tours for a few days, to take promotional pictures for bigger bands and all these experiences and adventures still keep me so happy. Nowadays I mostly write for Powermetal.de and ADL.at and try to cover as many gigs and festivals as possible.
